SUBMITTING TO THE IUID REGISTRY

Submitting UID data to the IUID Registry is a mandatory part of MIL-STD-130 compliance. The IUID Registry is a big database where the DoD keeps maintenance and warranty records for its assets around the globe. The item UID serves as the key for each record.

You can submit UID’s to the Registry on your own by tediously entering the data for each UID manually or you can hire us to do the uploads for you.

MANUAL DATA ENTRY AT PIEE/WAWF

IUID data is added when entering your Receiving Report information. At PIEE/WAWF, click the ITEM TAB and then enter the Item Information. Within that page you will find the ADD UID button to input multiple screens of data for each UID item. Once input the data flows automatically to the UID Registry. This method can be tolerated for one to a couple dozen UIDs. However, as quantities increase the tedious process becomes more frustrating and the risk of errors grows.
